Exosite Kicks Off 2020 after Year of Strong Customer Adoption
Number of customers using ExoSense® application grew by 10x in 2019
MINNEAPOLIS – January 30, 2020 – Exosite, LLC, a leading provider in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market, today announced that it kicked off 2020 after a year in which it saw significant customer adoption of ExoSense®, a ready-to-deploy remote condition monitoring application that provides operational insight into high-value industrial assets, systems and equipment. This played a significant role in the company’s 2019 success, highlights of which include:
- A 10x increase in the number of customers leveraging ExoSense, resulting in the highest new customer onboarding numbers in the company’s ten-year history.
- A more than 38-percent increase in annual software revenue, due in part to customer adoption in key industrial markets.
- Recognition as one of just 16 vendors included in the Gartner June 2019 Magic Quadrant for Industrial IoT Platforms. Exosite was also positioned furthest for completeness of vision out of the six vendors added to the report this year.
- Celebration of Exosite’s 10-year anniversary, having helped hundreds of industrial manufacturers increase their service revenues, sell more replacement parts and improve customer service for over a decade.
“2019 proved to be a pivotal year for Exosite,” said Steve VanderSanden, Managing Director of North America, Exosite. “Not only did we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, a feat that less than 10 percent of startups achieve, but we also received overwhelming external validation. This is evidenced by the dramatic increase in customer adoption and the positive recognition by industry experts like Gartner. We believe this success can be attributed to our zero-barrier IIoT applications, like ExoSense, that offer best-in-class features that make it faster and more feasible for industrial OEMs to quickly deploy connected solutions. In 2020, we will continue to focus on expanding our off-the-shelf vertical solutions to reduce cost and time-to-market for our industrial customers. We will also continue to grow our ecosystem of partners and value-added resellers, a strategy that played an integral role in our growth and success in 2019.”
